As co-founder, a member of the Board of Directors of Oriflame and one of the major shareholders in the company, I want to make the following statement: This transaction has been carried out to strengthen the liquidity and to facilitate the future development of companies where I am the majority shareholder, primarily the health care company Medicover and the private equity company Oresa Ventures. Medicover has during the last few years invested significant amounts in acquisitions within the laboratory sector and the construction of a large hospital in Warsaw. During the next few years investments of a similar magnitude is planned and the now completed sales of Oriflame shares will support the financing of these investments. My commitment to Oriflame will remain the same and I am not planning any additional divestments of Oriflame shares" Jonas af Jochnick comments.
